I often choose books for my students in the age bracket and have a quick read first to make sure they're suitable. Many are excellent. Haven't yet read Wasted but have heard lots of good things about it...Denise Covey https://www.blogger.com/profile/07106490051555233439noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7867943957295965224.post-44554258985845017902010-04-30T01:18:22.722-07:002010-04-30T01:18:22.722-07:00Thank you so very much for that! I agree it's aimed at older teenagers, not I think because there's anything for anyone younger to worry about but because a younger reader is unlikely to get the full pleasure from it as they may not understand some themes, as you say. But I am someone who believes anyone should read any book at any age and I know some 12 year-olds will read Wasted and I'm not too worried about that. If they don't get it, they'll drop it.

Thanks again - I hugely appreciate your time in reading the book and writing your feelings about it.Nicola Morganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12189894289540344094noreply@blogger.com
